PRIMER
FOR DISTRESSED GREY WOOD

0219

The water based PRIMER 0219 is used for wood oxidized with our graying agents 0848 or 0842 and 0844 or other products so that they keep their light grey colour following the application of a varnish or wax. PRIMER 0219 cannot serve as finish.

PREPARATION

The wood flooring once it has been grayed must be brushed and all dust removed.

APPLICATION

The PRIMER 0219 like all water based varnishes should be applied by spraying, rolled on or applied with a brush in one coat. In the case of very distressed or very heavily brushed down wood a 2nd coat may be necessary.
A few test applications should be made before starting.

FINISH

PRIMER 0219 may serve as a basis for all water based finishes and waxes (make the necessary tests before starting). We suggest our invisible mat polyurethane water based varnish 0220 (see technical datasheet).

CLEANING OF TOOLS: with water.
APPLICATION QUANTITIES : 8 - 10 m2 per liter
PACKAGING: 1L – 5 L – 30L and more.
